Searching for a 3D Box Generator
September 7th, 2008 Posted by ChanyaI’m working on a product to sell on one of my niche sites. It’s not an eBook but an actual graphics package I’m putting together that will contain downloadable graphics images.
I need one of those nifty 3D box or CD cover generator packages. You know, the ones that let you create what looks like a box of software or the cover of a CD jewel case? I’ve found 2 products that offer free trials:
-3D Box Maker
-Insofta Cover Commander
The second product is by far superior to the first because it lets you adjust the box angles, shadow, and reflections. The only problem is that the spine of the CD and/or software box doesn’t look so great. Oh, and of course, since it’s not a free product and they want you to purchase the product, the company’s watermark mars the actual image. I’d buy it though if I could adjust the spine.
So, I’m wondering if anyone has a product they’ve used and can recommend? Free or otherwise.

Do you have Photoshop? If you do, take a look at Cover Action Pro dot Com. It does a wide variety of covers. I haven’t used it, but I’ve seen it highly recommended.
I don’t know if you can adjust angles though.
Dan: I don’t have Photoshop but I think I may have found a product that will work for me. It’s called eCover Engineer and it produces fairly sharp 3D box covers.
Thanks for the suggestion though!
