Wordpress 2.6 Out - Fantastico Still at 2.5.1

I’ve read lots of good reviews about Wordpress 2.6 except for a few plugin incompatibilities which are to be expected. I’d like to upgrade but Fantastico via the Bluehost cpanel interface only has version 2.5.2 available. I’ve noticed in the past that Fantastico can be several weeks (or months) behind Wordpress releases. It took a LONG time for version 2.5.1 to be available; for the longest time you could only upgrade to version 2.3.3.

My question is this: is this a Bluehost thing or does it take this long for Fantastico to be updated at other hosting sites?
