Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino on Fire
Posted by Amateur BlogsThe Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino caught on fire about an hour ago. If you haven’t heard about this, check out MSNBC, CNN, etc. The live video is pretty scary. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino Hotel has about 3,000 guest rooms. They’ve just evacuated the entire hotel sending gueses to the MGM Grand Arena which is across the street from the hotel.
How this happens is anyone’s guess at this point but the fire did quite a bit of damage.
If you’ve seen photos of this hotel you know it’s huge. I can’t imagine how chaotic it must have been getting everyone out of there. Thank goodness no one was hurt.

I used to be a nightclub promoter in Vegas. I have a friend who was supposed to be having a suite party at Monte Carlo tonight… When I saw the news, I called him and suggested that he “postpone” his bash.
Chris: Wow, so you actually knew someone on their way there. Good you could contact him ahead of time.
Apparently there were some welders on the roof immediately before the fire broke out – this was probably a contributing factor.
Interesting new….
Where are you BlogStruck we haven’t heard from you in a month almost. Is everything okay?
Wait I take that back, I was reading through a feed. My bad…
Debo: No problem. Good to hear from you!
Thank God, there were no victims
That must have been somebody’s fault in there, these things don’t happen for a reason. But I don;t think I have ever heard about a casino that size on fire, it must have been a real chaos and lots of lost money.
