$20 Scavenger Hunt Trivia Contest
Posted by Amateur BlogsDon’t you just love scavenger hunts? I do. The thrill of the chase, the mystery, the fierce competition to find all of the items first . . . ah what fun.
Well, since it’s cold outside I’m going to conduct this month’s contest as an online scavenger hunt! The winner gets a $20 Amazon.com gift card!
Rules
- I’ve provided a list of 10 questions below. They’re all trivia questions related to this blog.
- Find the answers to these questions. The answers can be found at this site in my posts, the comments, and the footer. Blog tip: consider using the search bar.
- You must email your answers to me at questions@blogstruk.com. You must include the URL of your blog in your email submission or your submission will not count. Each person that correctly answers all 10 questions will be entered in the contest.
IMPORTANT: If you write a short post about this contest and link back to this site your writeup serves as a second contest entry. I’ll see the link in my Wordpress Dashboard and follow it to your site, then check to make sure you’ve submitted your answers via email. If it turns out you’ve submitted your answers via email and also written a short post about the contest but some of your answers are incorrect, your post will still count as one entry.
- The deadline is next Friday, January 11th (12:00am midnight EST). I’ll use the Random Integer Generator to select the winner.
The contest starts NOW (January 4th at 9:00am EST).

- Who makes a unique mouse that I really like?
- What keyword term caused me to recently rank high in the SERPs?
- Who is the Lenny Bruce of the Blogosphere?
- Name one of my pet peeves.
- Name one piece of advice or a blog tip FrankC gave me in a comment about comment saboteurs.
- What company designed the theme for this site?
- What color was the car driven by "Old Guy"? Hint: use quotes.
- Name one blog tip for keeping your blog tidy and tossin’ the trash.
- Name one thing newbie bloggers can do to put out the welcome wagon.
Remember, all of the answers can be found at this site - don’t make up any answers.
UPDATE: one contestant just informed me that he found all 10 answers in 13 minutes! Can you beat that time?
