BlogRush Deadbeat: From $0 to -$60 in 5 Days

- After placing the BlogRush code in your blog template, a BlogRush widget will appear in your blog’s sidebar. This widget displays blog post titles from 5 different blogs. All of the blogs that appear in the widget are related to the same topic as your blog.
- Each time the widget is loaded on your blog, one of your recent post titles is shown in the BlogRush widget of someone else’s blog. You earn “syndication credits” each time the widget on your blog is loaded (i.e., each time someone clicks on your blog’s main page). The more syndication credits you have, the more chances you have of getting your post titles displayed in the sidebar widgets of other blogs.
- If someone signs up for BlogRush by clicking on the widget on your site your blog earns syndication credits from all of the traffic that the referring blog produces.
And all of this occurs free of charge. It costs nothing to join. See the widget in my sidebar titled “From the Blogosphere”? That’s the BlogRush widget.
So let’s see how I’ve done in 5 days:
Okay, that’s not so bad . . . . let’s take a look at the credits:
Say what? I have -60 credits? How does that work? Did people “unclick” the BlogRush widget in the sidebar? If I earned 53 credits in the last 7 days but my ending balance is -60, that means at some point my balance was -113! I’m perplexed at how this could happen.
Therefore, I’ve decided to take this lemon and make a milkshake. I’m going to see just how low I can drive this credit. I’m not gonna’ do anything to turn this around. Okay, I have no idea how to turn this around. I don’t even know what I did to get to -60. Nonetheless, I’m gunnin’ for -200. I’ll post my balance each week.

I think I’m in the same club. I’ve got more credits than you (I’m not in the negatives) but it’s decreasing each day and I don’t know why. Perhaps we should start a contest to see who has the lowest BlogRush credits!
I got -500+ and I had only been a member a week or so. I think my posts just got released faster than i could generate the credits. It’s a really fishy system. Have you read the CEO’s comments?
